1. National Solar Mission (NSM)

PM-KUSUM Scheme

  • Benefits: Supports the installation of solar pumps and grid-connected solar and other renewable power plants in rural areas. The scheme offers various financial support options, including subsidies and loans.

PM Suryodaya Yojana 2024 is a new scheme of the Central Government announced by PM Modi, whose objective is to install solar panels on the roofs of the houses of one crore poor and middle-class families in the country. Pradhan Mantri Suryodaya Yojana 2024 so that those families can get relief from expensive domestic electricity bills. Not only this, but the government will also provide subsidies to families for the installation of solar panels. This scheme was announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi through his Twitter handle on the auspicious evening of the consecration of the Ram Temple on January 22, 2024.
